What You Should Know Before We Plan Your Trip
Can you get me a “good deal?”
Yes, but maybe not the kind you’re thinking of.
We don’t chase discounts or package deals. The value we offer is in getting it right the first time: the right hotel room, the right location, the right pacing, and a plan that works. That means fewer mistakes, better experiences, and your time protected.
Sometimes we secure exclusive rates, upgrades, or perks through our partnerships with Preferred Travel and Signature Travel Network. But the real deal is having someone who knows what’s worth your money and what’s not.
Can you help with private villas or rental homes?
Yes, and this is one of the biggest reasons people come to us. We work with vetted villa suppliers, trusted hosts, and in some cases, off-market properties that aren’t searchable online. If you’re traveling with family or a group, or just want more space and privacy, we’ll find the right fit, and build the rest of the itinerary around it.
Do you book group or family trips?
Yes. We help with multi-generational travel, family milestone trips, friend getaways, and more. If you want multiple rooms or a private rental, we’ll help sort out what works and what won’t. Group travel needs a solid plan. That’s what we do.
Do you charge planning fees?
Yes. We charge a professional fee because what we do isn’t transactional, it’s consultative.
Every trip starts with your goals and ends with a complete, customized plan that works. That takes time, judgment, and experience. Charging a fee gives us the flexibility to work on your behalf, not the supplier’s. It also means we’re not trying to “earn” your business after the fact. You’re hiring us for our expertise upfront.
Why not just work off commission?
Because commission-based models put the supplier first. Our clients come to us for judgment, not kickbacks.
If we relied solely on commissions, we’d have to push certain products, routes, or vendors to make the numbers work. That’s not what we do. Charging a fee gives us the freedom to build the right trip, not the most “bookable” one.
How much do you charge?
Our fees start at $100 and scale based on complexity, length, and number of travelers.
Some clients pay a one-time planning fee for a single trip. Others work with us on a retainer-style basis, multiple trips per year, ongoing travel support, or annual planning for families or couples who travel often. We'll quote you a clear fee structure after our discovery call, before any work begins.
We’ve found that charging a transparent fee leads to better planning, better outcomes, and better alignment between what you want and how we deliver it.
Do you always charge a planning fee?
Almost always, but not in every case.
If you come to us with a fully planned trip and just need help with booking a specific hotel, cruise, or experience, we may waive the planning fee. In that case, we’re acting as your booking agent, not your advisor—and we’ll let you know upfront if the request qualifies.
If the trip requires research, strategy, coordination, or personalized recommendations, a planning fee will apply.
Final Thought
Amateurs give away their time. Professionals charge for it.
We’re not guessing. We’re not winging it. We plan intentionally, with experience, and we charge a fee because what we do works. If you’re looking for free, there are plenty of booking sites out there. If you’re looking for thoughtful, strategic travel planning, you’re in the right place.
